LaBSSAH (Laboratory of Biomarker Studies and Structure Analysis for Health) is a joint laboratory based on a collaboration between research groups from the Sensors and Devices Center of the Bruno Kessler Foundation (FBK-SD), the Institute of Biophysics of the National Research Council (CNR-IBF Trento unit), and the Department of Cellular, Computational and Integrated Biology of the University of Trento (CIBIO-UNITN).
LaBSSAH is a space dedicated to researchers and startup for the application and development of advanced experimental techniques and methodologies in the life sciences. Biomedical research activities primarily concern the study of the molecular mechanisms underlying complex diseases (oncological, neurodegenerative, genetic ) and the development of innovative systems, such as sensors and microdevices, for the purification and detection of biomarkers, as well as for advanced diagnostics, and for developing the next generation of therapeutical interventions (ATMPs)
